Hello, I Just installed Linux Mint 22.2 Cinnamon on my laptop. I’m also currently dual booting with Windows 10 on my SSD.After i update and then install the nvidia driver and reboot again, i got weird error messages. Then, when it booted, i see nvidia-prime-aplet running with intel power saving on, so i switch to nvidia on-demand. after reboot, when i run nvidia-smi command, got an error,
NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn’t communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.
Here’s the bug report,

Here’s my system info if you need to take a peek:

Oh, and another thing is, before i tried Linux Mint, i tried Fedora 42 KDE and installed nvidia from rpm fusion, also had the same problem. Also, seems like i done goofed up during LM installation and replace important windows partition because now windows can’t boot up, shows blue screen with error message inaccessible boot device. Even though i make sure to not touch any partition on SSD. I didn’t check windows right after LM installation because during Fedora installation and a couple of re-installation, windows was fine and booted up.
