I am trying to install NVIDIA on my Windows 11 with Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS.
My windows taskbar, device manager and NVIDIA application all are showing the hardware correctly.
I am trying to install CUDA on Ubuntu as per NVIDIA manual, but “lspci | grep -i nvidia” does not show anything. Whereas at the same moment running nvidia-smi on Ubuntu shows it working properly.
Shall appreciate a solution
Hi there @abid.waqar, welcome to the NVIDIA developer forums!
Would you mind running nvidia-bug-report.sh
and attaching the result file here?
But as long as nvidia-smi is reporting the GPU correctly, this should nothing to be worried about. I am not familiar with the newest GPUs myself, but it might not actually say nvidia
in the lspci
output, but rather GB104 or Blackwell or similar.
