Maximum number of cameras on a Jetson Nano SOM?

On the SOM website https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/autonomous-machines/embedded-systems/jetson-nano/ I see the following spec for the camera connection:

Camera 	12 lanes (3x4 or 4x2) MIPI CSI-2 DPHY 1.1 (18 Gbps)

Does this mean that the maximum number of cameras supported is one of the following:

  • Configuration 1) three cameras with four lanes each
  • Configuration 2) four cameras with two lanes each

    • i.e. you can have either configuration depending on your lane requirements, and the Nano SOM supports four cameras as a maximum on the MIPI CSI-2 connection?
