Message "failed to send thermal trip message to cpu!"

I’m running an Orin dev kit with JP7 38.1 EA. I’ve got a high speed NIC installed in the dev kit’s PCI slot. I’m seeing the following message occurring on the serial debug port when I run my iperf3 performance test:

WARNING @ [platform/drivers/mailbox/ivc_link_provider/mail_imo.c]: mail imo TX timeout
failed to send thermal trip message to cpu!

My performance test is hours long and I see multiple occurrences of the above message. That said, I’m not encountering any sort of kernel panic (yet!) and the system from all appearances seems to be working.

What, if anything, should I be doing to address this warning? Is there any further information about it that I should be aware of?

Please not use it and migrate to the JP7.1 GA.

Better reading what board is supported for rel-38 first.
