Hi,
Our custom carrier board will use the PHY 88E1512 with JetPack 6.2.
Since this is not the default PHY, we need to perform a customization process.
I have read various posts and the official documentation:
Jetson Module Adaptation and Bring-Up Guide .
Hi,
I am trying to make the PHY 88E1512 RGMII work. After studying posts like this and this and the official JP6.1 documentation, I do not see any issues in the configuration.
I can confirm that the correct pinmux configured correctly is in effect as I wrote it in the flashing conf file, the nodes in the device tree are configured correctly, the phy_reset GP5 is High, all the mgbe are disabled.
The PHY and link works only in “serdes” mode with fixed-link node present (so I would exclude any h…
However, I am now more confused about which files need to be modified and how to proceed.
Is there a step-by-step guide available to help with this process?
Thanks!
You could look into /boot/dtb on your Jetson to know where to start first.
I never really “memorize” which dtb should modify. If you know where to start and where to download source code, then it is basically code tracing.
But should this migration work? Or there are issues with it?
88E1512 is actually a very common phy in use by other users. So shall not have problem.
