I’m considering a setup with an RTX 3070 and RTX 4060 running on a Linux machine powered by an Intel Core i9-12900K. While I understand that matching GPUs are usually recommended, I’m curious if my proposed setup is feasible either through direct motherboard integration or via Thunderbolt.
Has anyone tried such a setup or have any advice on this?
I have an RTX A2000 and an RTX A5000 and I’m having issues in wayland and apparently there’s no solution for that (see the link to my post below). It works OK in X11
Don’t know about OP, but I’m working with ML and NLP and I initially got a workstation with a cheap RTX A2000 with the goal to upgrade it in the future with dual RTX A5000. I’m currently using X11 but I’m not planning to buy a second RTX A5000 until i can run wayland because I’m not sure how long I’ll be able to use X11. It seems like all distros are gradually switching to wayland.
