I am running nsys on a Linux system with CUDA Version: 10.2, and NsightSystems Linux version 2020.5.1.
While I do receive CPU profiling, I do not get anything on the GPU but I’m looking at the log file, I see the following error:
CUDA injection initialization failed.
I know my application is using the GPU (Geforce 2080) because I can see it using “watch -n 1 nvidia-smi”.
When I check the documentation, it seems my CUDA version should be compatible with Nsight 2020.5.1.
Might you have any tips for me?
