Im actually working with a ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 SE GX551QS
After installing several Linux Distros (Ubuntu & Pop!OS) the RTX 3080 is gone. The GPU is not detected neither in BIOS.

NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.

there is no file 50-pm-nvidia.rules in /lib/udev/rules.d/
Edit 3:
The BIOS Version is 405 (most recent) ASUS ROG. There is no option to disable or enable GPU in this BIOS.

If you turn on iGPU in Windows, the NVIDIA GPU will turn off and will not be available in linux, cannot detect with “lspci”. I will now try to install windows again and activate the GPU.
