Not enough power for Stabile Diffusion

Hello

Jetson Orin Nano 8GB, 36.3

I have the jetson-containers with ollama, open-web-ui und stable-diffusion running.

When stable-diffusion generates two or three small images in a row I get power warnings or the JON even reboots.

The NVP Model Clock Configuration for Jetson Orin Nano 8GB only allows for 15W (mode 0), on which I am.

https://docs.nvidia.com/jetson/archives/r36.2/DeveloperGuide/SD/PlatformPowerAndPerformance/JetsonOrinNanoSeriesJetsonOrinNxSeriesAndJetsonAgxOrinSeries.html#supported-modes-and-power-efficiency

Is this normal behaviour and is there a way around? The power supply has 45W.

Thank you

Hi

Do you see the overcurrent warning?
If yes, it is expected when running complicated tasks like inference.

Thanks.

Thank you @AastaLLL a kind of unexpected answer.

Hi,

If you keep seeing the power warning, please try 7.5W mode to avoid throttling.

Thanks.

That seems to do the trick. I set it to 7.5W and no problems since then.
