1.nsight compute version for 2021.2, graphics card for RTX 3080, Driver version for 470.239.06, cuda version for 11.4, as shown in the figure, why do I use nsys to run a simple graphics inspection program will report an error: the target application returned non-zero exit code 1 and then directly exit, I directly run the program can run, with nsys run other programs can also run, only this image detection program can not run, I would like to know the reason for such a problem, as well as possible solutions.

  1. Is there any other official tool that can monitor the parameters of the GPU when it is running.

Please clarify you are using Nsight Compute or Nsight System.

I think it is Nsys from the screenshot. But the title and version both mentions Nsight Compute.

The version of Nsys that you are using is quite old, and many changes and improvements (including to GPU metrics) have been made in the interim. Please update with Nsys 2024.5 from Nsight Systems | NVIDIA Developer and let me know if you get better results and then we can go from there.
