Nsight Compute remote debug Xavier? Is it possible?

Hi,

I installed nsight compute in a host Ubuntu (via SDK Manager, host tools), it’s v2019.5.

When I tried to connect to a remote Xavier, I found that aarch64/arm64 is not available, so does it mean that it’s not suported for Xavier?

In the Target Platfrom dialog, I only see:

Linux(ppc64le)
Linux(x86_64)
Windows

I am expecting a target type like Linux(aarch64)

Could somebody verify that Xavier is not supported? or should I use some different version? or use a Windows Host?

Thanks.

Hi,

It should have Linux (aarch64) under the Target Platform.
The same issue also occurs in our environment.

We are checking this internally.
Will share more information with you later.

Thanks.

Hi,

Please make sure you have cuda-cross-aarch64-10-2 package installed.
After installing the package (OTA or JetPack), we can see the aarch64 target on Nsight Compute correctly.

Thanks.
