But as far as I could find out internally you will need to follow the workaround described in the link you shared.

NVCPL can be downloaded as separate software package from our licensing portal. That should fix the issue.
Hello we are using Nvidia as part of our Azure Infrastructure and therefore do not have direct licensing with NVIDIA. Do we need this to download the NVCPL as an MSI / non store app?
