Missing "Display" Section in NVIDIA Control Panel

Hi everyone!

I’ve noticed that the “Display” section is completely missing from my NVIDIA Control Panel. Because of this, I don’t have access to settings like resolution adjustments, scaling, or color management.

→ System Information:

Graphics Card Model: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU

Driver Version: 566.36, the latest version installed via GeForce Experience

Monitor Model: Built-in laptop screen

Connection Type: Built-in display

Operating System: Windows 11 Home 64-bit

Laptop Model: GIGABYTE G5

→ What I’ve Tried:

  1. Driver Updates: Updated the GPU drivers to the latest version using GeForce Experience.

  2. NVIDIA Services: Restarted all NVIDIA-related services.

  3. Driver Reinstallation: Completely uninstalled the drivers using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) in Safe Mode and reinstalled them.

→ Additional Details:

The built-in laptop screen works fine, but NVIDIA features like scaling and color management are unavailable.

Both the GPU and monitor appear in Windows Device Manager without any errors.

The NVIDIA Control Panel only shows “3D” settings and other basic options, but the “Display” section is entirely missing.

→ Questions:

Could this be caused by the way laptops handle discrete and integrated graphics?

What additional troubleshooting steps can I take?

Could BIOS settings, Hybrid Graphics configuration, or Windows settings affect this?

I would greatly appreciate any help or advice!

Thank you!
