My configuration:
Windows 10 Version 1909 (Latest)
1 x NVIDIA Quadro M4000 Graphics Card (4 Displayports)
2 x DELL UP275K Monitors (5K monitors that support 30-bit color)
5120 x 2880 (native resolution) on each monitor connecting 2 x Displayport cables to each monitor to achieve 5K resolution in both
The issue:
I’ve been stuck in the old NVIDIA Driver 397.93 (May 2018) because installing any new driver the NVIDIA Control Panel - Use NVIDIA Color Settings have some issues where I cannot change the Desktop color depth: [shows empty list] and the Output color depth: is not visible anymore.
ISSUE: With NVIDIA Driver 442.74 (Mar 2020)
2 x Displayport cables connected to each monitor to achieve 5K resolution on each monitor
On Monitor 1: I’m able to select the settings below to get the 10-bit per color @ 5120 x 2880 native resolution
On Monitor 2: All the settings disappear, and this is the issue, there’s no way to configure them, check pic below.
Desktop color depth: SDR (30-bit color)
Output color depth: 10 bpc
Output color format: RGB
Output dynamic range: Full
With very old driver, I was able to configure the settings properly (of course some of these settings were reset after every restart, but at least I was able to set them back)
