Nvidia fan Control wayland

As both a NVIDIA shareholder and consumer I have been quite happy with the performance of your graphics cards but i seem to have run into an issue. As you may know Linux is slowly transitioning over to wayland instead of X11. When I switch over to wayland my performance is fine but my graphics card fan spins up and gets very loud. When I open the NVIDIA X server settings it seems that fan control does not work when running under wayland but does work under X11. I would much perfer to use wayland do you know if there is any workaround to getting fan control/ under-clocking support under wayland. I know the latest driver update added support for wayland so now it boots but it still doesn’t seem to support most features. Let me know if there is something I can change on my end to get this to work the specific OS I am using is Arch Linux DE is KDE running under wayland.

Under X11 I used GWE, which doesn’t really work under Wayland. Originally I just used a shell script to control fans under Wayland, but am now using CoolerControl (AUR) to control all fans.

For overclocking/underclocking I think the only way at the moment is through scripting. Would be nice if both sets of options (…and undervolting) were available in the settings GUI.
