Hi Markus

Actually I used jetpack version 6 using this i booted jetson orin nx 16 with our coustom carrier board in that i tried to make GPIO06 pin in 260 pin SODIMM connector but it’s not working on booting I didn’t create device tree using pinmux spreadsheet so may be that is the reason ? I don’t know can you help regarding this issue ?

Hi mohamedhaffeez10,

What’s exact Jetpack version in use?

Please apply the patch from the following thread to check if it could help for your case.
40hdr - SPI1 gpio padctl register bit[10] effect by gpiod tools in JP6 - #20 by KevinFFF

Hi Kevin

I am using jetpack version 6.2

Yes, you may be affected by the known GPIO issue due to SFIO bit been set.
Please apply the patch I shared in previous response to verify.

Hii kevin,

I downloaded the kernel source patched the file you mentioned before and then i compiled with that updated kernel I tried same issue only i can’t control the gpios using gpiod can you help to solve this issue?

Could you run the following command to control it and get a scope to measure the pin state?

# gpioset --mode=wait `gpiofind "PCC.03"`=1
# gpioset --mode=wait `gpiofind "PCC.03"`=0

Thank you Kevin it works but I cant change the mode permanently with gpioset for that what I need to do I have requirement on power on that pin is on low after 10ms I need to keep the pin as high permenently

You can set the default pin state as low by pinmux configuration. (i.e. GPIO/Output/Drive 0).

Please note that the pin state controlled by gpioset is valid before the process ends.
You can try running it in background or use other methods(from device tree, custom driver..etc) to control it.

Hi Kevin

I have jetson orin nx with our coustom carrier board in that board hdmi EDID not received we used same pin mapping as per devkit even we tried devkit bsp also in devkit that works fine but here not working why can you help me to solve this problem?

Is your issue about HDMI or GPIO?
If the current issue is specific to HDMI, please create another topic to discuss in details.

Have you achieved this behavior currently?
