Nvidia-smi doesn't recognize A100 in ubuntu vmware while lshw shows A100 (vmware ubuntu 22.04)

Initially, I believed it to be a driver problem and attempted to use different drivers, but I encountered the same error with all of them. Below, you’ll find the output for nvidia-smi and lshw.

NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn’t communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.
