Hi,
I am unable to remotely profile any application (even CUDA samples) using Nvidia Visual Profiler. Neither through NVVP application nor NSight.
The error message is:
My host is Ubuntu 18.04 (VirtualBox) and the device is Jetson TX2 with Jetpack 4.3. It is worth mentioning that previously I was able to profile using the host, which had been used to flash the Jetpack. However, I changed the computer and now it gives me the abovementioned error message.
The only way that I am currently able to profile an application is to use nvprof on the device and then display it in NVVP on the host, but this process is cumbersome.
I am starting the profiling session as a root user.
