NVLink bridge between RTX 3090 and Quadro RTX 6000

Hi
We want to add another GPU to our server, the server has a Quadro RTX 6000 card. We would like to choose RTX 3090 and connect it with Quadro RTX 6000 by Nvlink.

May I ask is such connection compatible for both cards and what impact it may bring to this configuration?

Hi there @rahn80643, welcome to the NVIDIA developer forums.

The “old” NVLink bridges for 30 series GPUs will not work with Quadro GPUs, or vice versa. Se also soem post explaining Quadro compatibility: NVLink High-Speed GPU Interconnect | NVIDIA Quadro

In general with combining several GPUs for compute, you should use the same architecture, and Quadro Ampere GPU architecture differs from GeForce Ampere.
