Open camera, possibilities system reboot

I have Xavier max9296 <–> max9295-ISP(YUV422)-ar0233 camera system, One max9296 connect two 9295 cameras.
When i open two cameras at the same time, almost can open sucess with preview. But possibilities sometimes, the camera open fail, and then the system auto reboot…

I see above log, first have some vi frame error. But why this cause the system reboot? what it happen?

Please check with below command to check if can reproduce the problem.

I try this command with pixelformat=YUYV (My yuv camera pixel format), this reboot issue can reproduce.

Could you try single camera separately to check if both of cameras can capture well continuously.

I have already open the single camera independent, do not have the problem. But the two together, may happy possibilities .
I do thest tests:

  1. 9296A + cameraA0 + cameraA1 (two link)
  2. 9296A + cameraA0
  3. 9296A + cameraA1
  4. 9296A + cameraA1, 9296B + cameraB1
    Only the No1 case happen this problem.
    My 9296 setting:
    MIPI 4 Lane, two stream vc-id 0、vc-id =1,MIPI OUT 600Mbps/Lane

Sorry, make a correction with above,
open the single camera independent, also have the problem. The probability of occurrence ls less then two open together.
I do not make sure the GMSL transmit fine. I ever use the same 9295/9296 configure run the imx390 raw camera. It runs well with two camara open at the same time.

In my mind, even though have the CSI/VI error, this should not cause a system root problem. The OS system should keep robustness.

What’s the BSP version? J4.5.x?

Looks like the Max929x driver have something wrong impact the first camera cause the NVCSI/VI capture error cause the system hang and reboot.

BSP Version L4T 32.4.3

Sorry I am run out of my mind for it now , I think it’s better consult to Max to get help on it would be better.
