Ever want a beer, but just don’t feel like getting up? Us too. We fixed that with our autonomous, voice-controlled beer sherpa robot.
This will take commands through Google Assistant (using IFTTT), which will pass the location to ROS. Once there, a Dingo mobile robot will drive to the beer fridge using an IMU and a 2D lidar. A Gen3 lite arm will use a Zed2 stereo camera to locate and open the fridge, then grab a beer out. Those are localized using aruco markers. Simple, but effective. Once it has the beer, it will navigate to the location that was requested and deliver the goods!
