Pinned Thread for Current Firmware, Kernel, and Software Version Updates

Dear NVIDIA Team,

It would be very helpful for the community if there were a pinned thread maintained by the NVIDIA team that provides up-to-date information on firmware versions, kernel versions, and other relevant system components included in current updates.

While some of this information may already exist across product pages, release notes, or documentation, many users come to the forum first when troubleshooting or looking for guidance. A single, clearly maintained reference thread would make it significantly easier to quickly verify the latest versions and understand what changes have been introduced.

Such a post could also include brief notes about known issues, important fixes, or recommended update paths. This would likely reduce repeated questions on the forum and help users resolve problems more efficiently.

Thank you for considering this suggestion and for the continued support of the community.

If other community members find this idea useful, please give thumbs up, also feel free to share your thoughts or add your support below. It would be helpful to see whether others would also benefit from having such centralized, pinned reference for current versions, updates, and known issues.

I agree. The version information on the release notes page doesn’t even include firmware version information. And the versions seem to be so mixed up and different for each device. NVIDIA needs to sort things out.

Some one point out that you can use this to look at the current update

cat /var/log/apt/history.log

Good point, but its not an about what’s on your system but what should be… or what’s recommended best stable setup.

history.log is great to see what you have

We appreciate the suggestions, we have modified the release notes to include current system component versions DGX Spark Release Notes — DGX Spark User Guide

This is great.

One note on GB10-based partner systems; since they are your partners it would be great to see them follow up with this, my suggestion / ask is for you Nvidia to communicate this to your partners to update their Release notes.

Thank you.
