Problem with A100 40GB GPU not creating Mdevs (mdevctl types shows nothing.)

Hello
We have A100 40GB Cards , we are installing them on Virtuozzo Hybrid Infrastructure node .
The VHI is version 7.0 (251)
vzctl --version vzctl v.9.1.3-1.vz9

We have installed the drivers from the nvdia customer site The installation worked and nvidia-smi shows the graphics card. However, mdevctl types shows nothing. Anyone who has experienced this kind of problem kindly assist
