problem with installing drivers

Hello i just tried to install my four gtx 1070 gpu’s but everytime i am ready and want to reboot the sceren it stucks at the same point :(

My approach:
sudo apt purge nvidia*
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:graphics-drivers
sudo apt update
sudo apt install nvidia-390

I also tried it with “ubuntu-drivers autoinstall” → same scenario

I also tried to remove the driver over the recovery-mode but with the following commands nothing really happens:
apt-get purge nvidia-390
add-apt-repository --remove ppa:graphics-drivers

Version: Ubuntu Server 18.04.02 LTS

Hopefully someone can help me!
Thanks and kind regards Dominik

Please install nvidia-driver-430 from ppa and run nvidia-bug-report.sh as root and attach the resulting .gz file to your post. Hovering the mouse over an existing post of yours will reveal a paperclip icon.

thank you for helping but i solved it by myself…

I just installed the GNOME GUI added the ppa over the terminal and installed the required driver over Software&Updates at the GUI…

Worked fine for me!

cheers
