Programming Cypress PD on dev kit

Hi,

Was wondering how the Cypress Type C USB PD controllers are programmed on the dev kit? Is the binary flashed on the dev kit itself or is this process conducted by Cypress and then shipped for placement on the dev kit.

There is a firmware to control this pd and we provide it here.
