I’m Ozhen, founder of Protrionix Technologies — we just joined the Embedded Developer Program and wanted to introduce ourselves.
What we’re building
Protrionix is developing an off-grid power solution with remote monitoring and manageability features, purpose-built to power small edge compute platforms like NVIDIA Jetson in remote, infrastructure-less environments. Think upstream Oil & Gas wellsites, agricultural fields, environmental monitoring stations — places where Jetson-class AI capability is exactly what’s needed, but where there is no power grid, no on-site personnel, and often limited or no connectivity.
The core problem we’re solving: Jetson modules are extraordinarily capable at the edge, but deploying them in truly off-grid environments is still a hard, unsolved problem. Power reliability is the number one reason edge AI deployments fail in remote industrial settings. We’re building the solution that sits underneath the Jetson — autonomous, long-duration power delivery with remote visibility and control.
Where we are
We’re at the early prototype stage, with Oil & Gas upstream operations as our initial target vertical. We’re actively working toward a first field pilot and are in the process of finalizing our MVP design — particularly around what data and software workloads make the most sense to run locally on the edge module.
Why we’re here
