Questions Regarding Optical Port Communication Latency and Packet Loss Rate

After we directly connected the optical ports of two Thor devices for communication, we found that the ping latency is approximately 1ms and the packet loss rate is 0.0026% (test command: iperf3 -c 192.168.200.100 -u -b 1G -t 600). Does this meet the expected standards?

Do you mean you connect two AGX Thor developer kits through Ethernet ports and run iperf commands?

One is the devkit, and the other is the Thor motherboard designed by us，both run the same software.

We don’t have the test for optical port, and not sure your result is expected.

Suggest to try other connection at x86 to do the comparision or review your internal criteria.
