RTSP stream not loading with deepstream-sdk 4.0 on jetson nano

Hi,

I made a clean install of deepstream sdk 4.0 following the user guide and tested successfully the sample application using

deepstream-app -c source1_usb_dec_infer_resnet_int8.txt

Since it was working ok, I tried to copy this config file and modify it so that it would work with a local rtsp stream.

What I changed :

[source0]
enable=1
#Type - 1=CameraV4L2 2=URI 3=MultiURI
type=4
uri=rtsp://admin:123456@192.168.1.81:554/live/ch0
latency=0
camera-width=1280
camera-height=720
camera-fps-n=30
camera-fps-d=1
camera-v4l2-dev-node=0

What I get :

tim@jetson-nano:/opt/nvidia/deepstream/deepstream-4.0/samples/configs/deepstream-app$ deepstream-app -c source1_rtsp.txt
** WARN: <parse_gie:940>: Unknown key 'network-mode' for group [primary-gie]

As you can see, the rtsp stream seems to be initialized correctly, but no image is loaded and displayed.

To make sure it was not caused by the rtsp stream, I tested it with gst-launch-1.0 and it worked perfectly.

What did I do wrong?

I had problems loading the RTSP stream of HikVision cameras while [tiled-display] and [tracker] were enabled. By disabling those, and changing the sink to an EglSink, I was able to get the stream loaded.

The same problem… I can’t load RTSP Stream.
what is the configuration for RTSP Stream?

Thanks

I disabled everything but source0 and sink0 (mode EglSink) and still no luck…

I definitely think there is something wrong in one of the libraries since it appears I am far from being alone facing this issue…

Finally, I managed to have it working with my wansview IP camera. Here is my config file :

Note that the width and the height of streammux must be set accordingly to your stream settings or it won’t work.

Another anoying thing is that I cannot have tiled-display enabled or I get the following error :

	p: Pause
	r: Resume

NOTE: To expand a source in the 2D tiled display and view object details, left-click on the source.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi,
Could you apply your modification to source8_1080p_dec_infer-resnet_tracker_tiled_display_fp16_nano.txt?
It loads config_infer_primary_nano.txt and might help the case.
