Called a few partners about this but none were aware of this development. We were planning on getting the 48GB version shortly so not sure if we could get any info on planned availability of the 72GB.

Sadly I am only able to refer you to the official page on the RTX PRO 5000 Blackwell. Use the “Stay Informed” link to get notified on availability.
The exact release dates and general availability is non-public information right now, so even if I knew I could not share. But as soon as they go live all channel partners will be informed as well.
