Hello,
I have Ubuntu 20.04 installed and Nvidia Titan V GPU card, my system was working fine for a few months but since the past 3 days, there has been a sudden screen flickering issue.
There are multiple 8 dots in a group that appear randomly on the screen and sometimes the screen also tears.
I have tried to enable Wayland, upgraded Nvidia drivers to 470, and also played with the fractional scaling part but none of these have helped in getting rid of the flickering.
I do not get black screen at the time of log in but still tried out the things mentioned here:
https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/black-screen-on-geforce-gtx-1050-ti-mobile-with-nvidia-driver-470/189029
it didn’t help.

Please help me fix this, it is a relatively new set up and I haven’t used the GPU much so just hoping the GPU isn’t a problem.
Thank you for your time, appreciate it!
