I also tried VBox with different version of Ubuntus (16.04 , 18.04) ! yet I have the same problem.
I cannot flash Nvidia Xavier AGX. below you can find the error that I am receiving on sdkm.

Hi aryankia,

The SDK Manager can’t work well on virtual machine, please find the native Ubuntu host machine to run it to flash device.

Thanks

I got similar problem as aryankia.
I also checked my ubuntu 18.04 host PC with result as follows :

sudo dmidecode | egrep -i ‘manufacturer|product’
Manufacturer: Dell Inc.
Product Name: OptiPlex 9020
Manufacturer: Dell Inc.
Product Name: 00V62H
Manufacturer: Dell Inc.
Manufacturer: Intel
Manufacturer: 0420
Manufacturer: Samsung
Manufacturer: 0000
Manufacturer: Samsung

does it means this is native instead of virtual machine. (very sorry for my limited knowledge of ubuntu)

kindly need further advice to solve the problem… thank you.

hello pramonosd45,

please check your environment OS.
you should using the native ubuntu-OS or there should be compatible issues sometimes.
