Second Display Not Working on Centos 7.9

Good Afternoon,

I am having an issue with a HP Zbook Firefly 15 G7. I installed Centos 7.9 with GNOME (I really need this OS for functionnal requirements) and latest version of Nvidia Driver via .run file, I also disabled “nouveau” driver in Grub.
But the second display is not working (it’s not a display or cable problem) with HDMI port directly on the laptop, or with a DisplayPort via a Dock Station.

I tried a lot of things, including the command “nvidia-xconfig”, who modified my /etc/X11/xorg.conf, but when I reboot GUI is no longer working.
The command “xrandr” shows just the laptop display, no HDMI-0 or DP-0 even they are connected to the laptop.

I was not able to solve this problem for few days.
Can you help me please or do you have at least an idea ?

Thanks a lot !

Yo!

You have probably the same issue as I did, please see this thread:

Best

Thanks for your help.
I am not sure this is the same problem, I don’t even see Hdmi or DP in xrandr, but you did.
And no external display is working at all for me.

I found the solution !
My kernel was in version 3.10. It was too old for my hardware.
I changed my kernel to a 5.0 version from elrepo (LTS version) : ELRepo | HomePage
After that, my second screen is working fine.
