Self-developed Carrier Boad of Jetson TX1 Can't Power on

 按照OEM的方案自研了底板,删除了部分外设接口,电源部分基本无改动。目前底板插上TX1模块可以上下电,但是系统没有启动,UART1无打印LOG;PWR_BTN,RST,CARRIER_PWR_ON上电时序与demo板上一致,Monitor没有接入电路中,请帮忙看下可能是什么问题?

Can you pls upload the power sequence pic of your board?

As you remove and add some components, you need to pay attention to the corresponding interface status. Compare them with Jeston TX1 to confirm there is no conflict, especially on below items.

No power up sequence waveform, assume this topic (https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/972027/jetson-tx1/self-developed-carrier-board-of-jetson-tx1-can-not-power-on/) is from you too, right? If so please compare your power up sequence with correct Jetson board’s.

I have no findings in these pictures you attached. Suggest you to check all changed IO pin’s status and compare them with Jetson board to see if any conflict.

Also please change the title of topic and content in this topic to English so as to be understood by all.

The demo jetson tx1 module in the self-developed carrier board can power on,but the buyed jetson tx1 module can’t.The reset single is pulled down on the buyed jetson tx1 module.,If 1v8 is derect connected reset_out or reset_in,the buyed jetson tx1 module can power on.Is there any different bewteen two modules? P/N on the module is R1 or R2,Pic is as follow:

Are the singls of reset_out and reset_in effected of some thing ?

What’s the P/N of the carrier board (xxx-2597-xxx) that your self-developed carrier board based on?

Boot will be held if reset_out or reset_in is pulled low.

The circuit name is P2597_B02,The P/N of the carrier board is P2597,Software version is as follow:

Sorry I was confused by this sentence "The demo jetson tx1 module in the self-developed carrier board can power on,but the buyed jetson tx1 module can’t ", it means you have developed your own module (demo jetson tx1 module) too?

Let me do it again.
I have a demo board directly from NVIDIA, I can power on self-designed carrier board with the module uninstalled from the demo board, but I can’t make it when I plug in the module I got from distributor. Here I have the P/N’s, can you help find the difference between these two modules, module on demo board P/N 135-0650-000 R2, and the module we bought from distributor is 135-0657-000 R1?

If the circuit of self-developed carrier board is followed “demo board”,the power up sequence of “bought board +self carrier board” is the same as “demo board+self-developed carrier board”,but “bought board +self carrier board” can’t power on.So I want to know the difference between these two modules,Pls.
The picture of power up sequence digram is PWR_BTN,Carrier_PWR ON and Reset_Out。

Changelist of different version module is not public, but every Jetson TX1 dev kit are verified before ship out, your “bought board” can work normally on its own carrier board, right? If so, the module has no problem, and suggest you to compare your self-developed carrier board to “bought carrier board” to locate possible issue point and try to keep them same as dev kit.

If you can’t tell me the difference, can you help refer me to the right schematics? I have downloaded P2597_B02 from nvidia.com, which I referred to when I was designing my carrier board, however, P2597_B02 has a few differences comparing with the official demo board. And I also find P2597_B04 from website, which makes me confused. Can you help find me the right schematics for official demo board, _B02 or _B04 or something else?

Current schematic on download zone is B04, there are revision history at its last page, you can get the changes between B04, B03 to B02.

Better to develop your own carrier board based on corresponding version module, that can avoid some potential risks.

Have no info about 135-0651-000 R3, the correct P/N of carrier board should be xxx-2597-xxx, do you find it on board?

Seems is old version which is not B02, B03 or B04, it should not be used as reference.
