Simple introduction into CUDA programming in Delft, Netherlands on October 10, 2011 (course announce

On October 10, 2011 the Department of Applied Mathematics from the University of Delft will organize again a one-day CUDA/GPU course for beginners. This will be the 15th time we’ll give this course so we do have some experience with the subject and we thought this course might be interesting also for (Dutch or European) readers on this forum who work or live in the vicinity of Delft.

You’ll learn the basics of how to use the GPU and CUDA to tackle simple mathematical problems in a labroom equipped with about 15 Linux computers all with a (simple) Nvidia GPU aboard (FX1800 or similar) and one system with a Tesla C1060. Some basic knowledge of C and/or Linux is recommended, although some people were able to manage quite well without this :-)

FYI : This course will be the first to be based upon Cuda 4.0.

Location : Delft University, Dep of Applied Mathematics , Mekelweg 4, Delft

Duration : 9:30 - 17:00

Admission : admission fee will be 200,- , including lunch and course material.
