SN3700 and 56GbE

Is it possible to turn on 56GbE speeds on SN3700?
Need to connect older Switch Mellanox 6036G who support 56GbE, and 56 will be much faster than standard 40GbE per port.

Hello,

See below for the supported speeds for this switch.

Thank you!

I have a different model it’s 200GbE MSN3700-VS2R, based on the Spectrum-2 chip (btw. 200GbE and working Auto-neg for an office use is amazing).
I am still wondering about this 56GbE case because it is buildt in the SN3700 manual (Product Documents->Documentation->User manual):

The (old) broken link “HowTo Configure 56GbE Link on Mellanox Adapters and Switches” is :
https://community.mellanox.com/s/article/howto-configure-56gbe-link-on-mellanox-adapters-and-switches

What I see older models like my old Mellanox SX6036G support 56GbE (1/10/40/56GbE), also Spectrum-1 based Nvidia/Mellanox SN2700 support 56GbE (1/10/25/40/50/56/100GbE)

in SN3700 Onyx Web view I see only:
Supported speeds : 1G 10G 25G 40G 50G 50Gx1 50Gx2 50GxAuto 100G 100Gx2 100Gx4 100GxAuto 200G 200Gx4
Advertised speeds : 1G 10G 25G 40G 50G 50Gx1 50Gx2 50GxAuto 100G 100Gx2 100Gx4 100GxAuto 200G 200Gx4

I remember for SX6036G it require 56GbE license key and this key was provided by Mellanox for all QSFP+ switches probably under the same broken link (I don’t remember exactly, long time ago).

Best regards!
