[solved] Install Driver NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 6GB GDDR6 for Debian 12

Hi,
on my Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 16ARH7H laptop I have Debian 12 system with Gnome, I tried to install the driver, the installation is successful but the driver is not recognized
This is the driver used: Linux x64 (AMD64/EM64T) Display Driver | 535.146.02 | Linux 64-bit | NVIDIA

root@legion:~ # nvidia-smi
NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.

root@legion:~ # lshw -c display | grep driver
       configuration: depth=32 driver=amdgpu latency=0 resolution=2560,1600
root@legion:~ #
root@legion:~ # echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE
wayland
root@legion:~ #

disable SecureBoot on Bios

Hi there @mikysal78, welcome to the NVIDIA developer forums.

Disabling secure boot is one option of course. If that works for you and is acceptable, great!

Alternatively you could enable it again, but would need to authenticate the driver with Linux, going through key initialization and similar.
