Installing nvidia drivers on AMD and Nvidia Hybrid GPU in Lenovo Legion Laptops on Linux

I have a Lenovo Legion S7-15ACH6 laptop, Type 82K8 with discrete NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 and integrated AMD Radeon graphics cards. I installed Ubuntu 22.04 and want to installed NVIDIA drivers, but have issues. I installed nvidia-prime (after all I realized that it is for Intel integrated graphics not for AMD) and tried to install nvidia-drivers.

After rebooting the laptop did not boot. The only way to repair is to uninstall nvidia drivers:

sudo apt remove --purge '^nvidia-.*'

The error is following:

I installed NVIDIA driver (open kernel) metapackage from nvidia-driver-525-open(proprietary, tested) from the Software and Updates app.

Available drivers to install:

How to install Nvidia drivers on laptop with integrated amd graphics?

nvidia-prime supports both intel and amd.
Please select the latest non “-open” driver version.

As you can see from errors it says Unrecognized AMD processor

So your suggestion is to choose?

Using NVIDIA driver metapackage from nvidia-driver-525 (proprietary)

Yes.

It works, thanks. Unfortunately driver installation some how has broken some other systems. For now wifi, Bluetooth and touchpad is not working. But this is another issue
