Keeping camera synchronization at software level

Hi, we have a system based on a Xavier SoC and a GMSL deserializer to read from two independent cameras. Whenever one of the two cameras is started via Argus API, the camera drivers configure the deserializer to generate a periodic signal for both sensor (frame sync signal). If we open the two cameras, we can check that they are synced at HW level by scoping the “FRAME_VALID” pins. Argus Timestamp Domain

When getting a timestamp from libargus with Argus::ICaptureMetadata::getSensorTimestamp or EGLStream::IFrame::getTime, what clock domain are the timestamps in? can they be compared to linux’s CLOCK_MONOTONIC system timestamps, for instance? if they’re in a different clock domain, how can I rectify these timestamps against wall time?
