It seems specific to Jetpack 4.4 DP and not 4.3 as 4.3 updates just fine. Any idea as to when the 4.4 repository issue will be resolved?
Just following up on this issue, the repository issue seems to have been resolved for Jetpack 4.4 as it’s finishing up its install as I type :) Reading back over others posts it appears as though this occurs from time to time with no explanation.
Actually we didn’t do anything yet. Please check if this issue still happens from time to time.
We 've cleaned up something in the CDN, please check if this issue is still there on your side. Thanks.
Do you still have any error when running apt-get update?
No further issues. Thank you.
HI,what is the meaning of CDN?
I am guessing: CDN.
(content delivery network)
linuxdev is correct - Content Delivery Network. The CDN mirros files/packages in servers located around the globe to provide better access across different regions (i.e. better download speeds).
I still get the following error:
E: Failed to fetch https://repo.download.nvidia.com/jetson/t210/dists/r32.4/main/binary-arm64/Packages.gz File has unexpected size (8479 != 8232). Mirror sync in progress? [IP: 188.8.131.52 443] .
Is there any solution to this problem?
Could you share when did you try this test and see error?
I have the same error right now with a jetson nano and jetpack 4.3

Could you share when did you see this issue? The date and also the time (please also share your timezone) if possible.
@WayneWWW I am facing the same issue right now.

I am facing the same problem in India. Did the fix of NTP as suggested in forum but no effect.
I don’t know if those repo sites are designed to work only with login or not. I did try to manually navigate to here in a browser:
…which (at least without login) failed to show that the URL exists. I ended up trying one less part of the file path, e.g., https://repo.download.nvidia.com/jetson/t186/dists/r32.4/, until the only thing left was https://repo.download.nvidia.com/, and still did not find content, and so I am guessing one has to authenticate somehow prior to those downloads working.
If it turns out that authentication is not needed, then it looks like the server might be either misconfigured, or else have file browsing disabled (I was not navigating to a specific file, I was only navigating to a directory as a whole). So I have no way of looking closer, but can “sort of” confirm the issue.
Have you tried to configure the NTP time?
We just clean up some cache on the CDN. Please try again and see if the issue is resolved or not.
Yes for the NTP issue, It seems when you cleaned up the cache on your CDN, it seems to resolve our issue.
Thanks a lot again @WayneWWW
