Tegra_dc_assign_hw_data: no matching compatible node

Hello,

our Kernel log contains the following error messages:

[ 0.422252] tegra_dc_assign_hw_data: no matching compatible node
[ 0.422256] tegradccommon module_init failed
[ 0.422259] tegradc module_init failed

We are running a custom carrier board with an Orin NX and use JetPack release 5.1.3.

Can you tell us what these errors mean?
Is this something to worry about?

Hi jonathan.schnitzler,

These messages should be fine.
Do you connect display on your board?
Please share your device tree for further check.

We don’t connect a display to the board. The board also doesn’t have any display connectors.
Unfortunately our device tree is confidential. Which parts are you interested in?

If there is nothing else then no need to worry about… This is Xavier display driver which does not work on Orin anymore.
