Hello,
Just finished sweeping up the hair I’ve been pulling out trying to get my Tesla K40m, CUDA, and Ubuntu 18.04 all working together! I saw somewhere on the Nvidia site that the Tesla K40 was last supported way back with CUDA version 6.5. The problem is when you download CUDA 6.5 it seems to be supported by an ancient Ubuntu release and it dosen’t seem to work with Ubuntu 18.04. Am I beating a dead horse here? Perhaps I need to install an old version of Ubuntu?
The other thing is the Nouveau driver issue! I have a GPU accelerator why do I have to blacklist the Nouveau driver? My display looks terrible without it?
Thank you all for reading this!,
Ed
