Try to flash TK1 but got hard lockup on CPU

Hi there,

I got two working tk1 with orignal configuration wanted to upgraded to Ubuntu 16.04.

I followed this post to perform the installation

Both tk1 couldn’t boot after flash. We got errors like:
CPU0: stopping
CPU: 0PIS:0 Comm: swapper/0 Not tainted 3.20.40-gb271e8f #1

WARMING: at dvs/git/dirty/git-master_linux/kernel/watchdog.c:270 watchdog_check_hardlockup_other_cpu+0xe8/0x11c()
Watchdog detected hard LOCKUP on cpu 1

Anyone can help here?

Thank you.

The Ubuntu method for upgrade to 16.04 does not understand the hardware…this will always break the system and has no simple fix. You’ll need to re-flash back to R21.6 (JetPack3.1) because the number of things broken by this kind of update are excessive. The best you can do is clone a copy of what is there now if you don’t want to lose anything (clones are loopback mountable if you use the raw image).

Thank linuxdev.

I had cloned the image back to Tk1 successfully. Thank you.
