Tutorial/Whitepaper for Nsight Eclipse Remote Build & Debug?

I am not finding a shred of documentation on how to setup remote build and debug for Nsight Eclipse for a Jetson platform. This link:

https://developer.nvidia.com/blog/cuda-jetson-nvidia-nsight-eclipse-edition/

…does not cover a remote build and debug config. I just want to edit source locally and do everything else remotely…is there ANY information out there that actually documents that process? Also, yes I read this:

https://docs.nvidia.com/cuda/nsight-eclipse-edition-getting-started-guide/index.html#remote-development

It tells me I can do it, but no actual detail.

I feel your pain. I’ve been trying to get Nsight Eclipse Edition configured for nearly 2 years. There is apparently no hope for help, now that Jetpack 5 is imminent. Those of us with TX2 and Nano are on our own. Still, it’s really bad form that they never showed us how to actually use NEE for sormthing useful. It’s nice for compiling the CUDA samples, but how to debug, etc. (and set up ports, etc.) is apparently a secret because I can’t find any help, either. Nvidia was probably trying to figure why no user community ever developed around it. It’s not hard to imagine that any business doing serious development determined very quickly that is was faster to set a development environment from scratch. Now, Nvidia is making the same mistake with Visual Studio Code. “We dare you to figure out how to use this monster!” sigh
