I agree, this is probably not happening in your case, but it is always good practice with any kind of data wiring to shield or make short or keep wiring together. If you know about the Fourier mathematics series, then consider that a “pure” frequency is always a perfect sine wave. As soon as you get more complex waveforms the signal is no longer “pure”, but could be described as mixing multiple sine waves together.
