I read the following post regarding uefi boot optimization:
it refers to uefi source.
My question is if there is a guide/documentation for understanding whats written there and what are the common actions that can be disabled in order to optimize uefi boot time.
Can I delete the logo files displayed by uefi or remove the function that loads them in order to get shorter boot time?
Sorry that there’s no document for this because that is strongly depending on the customer’s requirements
You could turn on the debug log in UEFI and check which component takes long time to boot.
I think showing logo would not take the time for boot.
You could simply configure auto boot-time from 5s to 0s for reducing the boot time.
