Unable to create temporary store for launch

I m trying to profile my application in nvidia-nsight, but it prompts with the following error
" Unable to profile application. unable to create temporary storage for launch "

The command line nvprof works fine in the CLI, but i want the visual profiler within the insight eclipse IDE.

I’m using cuda-11.0 toolkit on Gforce 930mx nvidia card.
OS: Ubuntu 16.04
