Usb no longer supplies power

I used to power a small fan through the usb-c port + adapter and now it no longer works.
The fan is fine, it works well connected directly to another power supply.

Is there any recent update that affects the power supply through any of the DGX Spark usb ports?

The total output of the three ports is 30W. If you plug in other devices to the other ports that can affect how much power can go to your fan.
