I’m not sure this is the right place to ask about WaveWorks, but anyway, I’m trying to use it and face multiple issues.
E.g.
- Documentation is unclear and inconsistent, e.g.
GFSDK_WaveWorks_Local_Waves_Simulation_AddDisturbances
mentionsbMapFromWorldSpace
but it doesn’t exist. There’s no example of doing that either. How do I map coordinates? - Nvidia driver continue to throw _com_error every time a certain API is used, this doesn’t seem to affect correctness, but might be a source of performance issues. Is there any chance that we see public updates/fixes for WaveWorks 2?
- Things like those I mentioned above make it unreliable to use for small developers without having an access to the source code. Can we expect WaveWorks 2 to be open sourced in the foreseeable future like some GameWorks libs or PhysX was?
