Video File Read fails with OpenCV4Tegra on Jetson TK1

Dear Nvidia Experts,

I am using Tegra TK1 board and trying to capture video streams from file and camera and feeding it to my algorithms…

I am able to capture stream from camera using VideoCapture object using opencv4Tegra but when i am trying to grab frames from MPEG-4 encoded AVI file of size 640*480, i am getting error:

Gstreamer plugin:Embedded video playback halted : module decodebin20 reported:Your gstreamer instalation is missing a plugin…

What package i am missing and how can i fix it ??

Any help is highly appreciated…

Hi Kapil,

I am no expert and probably can’t help on that issue.
Just wanted to share my experience, I have been using *.MP4 files without any problems whatsoever.

Probably you might already have installed gstreamer packages so it’s working…

This is resolved after i installed gstreamer on TK1…
