Hi,
Videoplayers like MPV oder Clapper have a problem with fullscreen in Wayland Sessions. The video is freezing after a few moments while sound is still playing.
Players like VLC with OpenGL output and Plex have stuttering video playback after a few moments in Wayland sessions.
Only Wayland Sessions seem to be affected.
This problems occur with Driver 550.90.07 and a lot of versions before. I noticed the problem since Fedora 39 Gnome and KDE, also with Open Suse Tumbleweed which i used before Fedora 39, there also with KDE and Gnome. Sorry, can’t tell the exact driver versions before.
Can someone else confirm the problem? Regarding a reddit post i found some time ago, RTX users maybe also affected.
